He joined the Hare Krsna movement in the summer of 2001 and moved to Krishna-valley to live there until 2003 as a volunteer monk. Later he served in Budapest in the Hare Krishna mission. He received initiation in 2011 from one of the spiritual masters in the community, Srila Indradyumna Swami, who frequently visits Hungary. In the following, he was serving as a cook in the Govinda Restaurant adjacent to the Csillaghegy temple. In 2018 he became the cook of the Food for Life Foundation. After a few years serving in the Budapest centre of the foundation, he was asked to take over the management of the Food for Life branch in Somogy County. “I consider my service as the most important mission of Srila Prabhupada after the distribution of books. Our spiritual master always emphasizes the importance of distributing [spiritual] food, in addition to spreading knowledge by distributing books. I feel great bliss that we can help disadvantaged people five times a week and, thus, we can bring some Krishna-conscious light into their lives!”
