in the basic and specialised care institutions providing personal care.<\/p><p><b>Duties of the representative:<\/b><\/p><p>* provide information, on request or on its own initiative, on the main fundamental rights of the persons concerned, on the obligations of the institution and on the rights of the recipients of care,<\/p><p>* assists the care recipient or his\/her legal representative in resolving issues and problems related to care, and, if necessary, helps to resolve conflicts between the institution and the care recipient,<\/p><p>* help the care recipient or his\/her legal representative to formulate a complaint and initiate an investigation with the head of the institution and the provider,<\/p><p>* may, except in the case of the establishment and termination of the legal relationship and transfers, act in relation to the institutional care before the head of the institution, its maintainer or the competent authority, and may represent the beneficiary or his\/her legal representative in this respect, on the basis of a written authorisation,<\/p><p>* informs the staff of social institutions about the rights of the beneficiaries, the exercise of these rights and the way they are taken into account in their professional work, after prior consultation with the head of the institution,<\/p><p>* take action to stop the unlawful practice,<\/p><p>* comment on the care work in the institution to the head of the institution,<\/p><p>* if it becomes aware of an infringement affecting a specific category of beneficiaries, it may take action against the competent authorities,<\/p><p>* may examine the documentation relating to restrictive measures and procedures.<\/p><p>* The representative is part of an organisation set up for this purpose.<\/p><p>The head of the social institution providing personal care shall inform the beneficiaries about the possibilities of assistance provided by the representative of the beneficiary's rights and the contact details
