Our foundation moved to Csillaghegy in Budapest’s 3rd District in 2004. Through the development and expansion of a district program launched in January 2009, we have reached the point where, as of 2012, we distribute 600 meals daily—five times a week at two locations—in the district where our headquarters is located. Starting November 12, the Hare Krishnas will be distributing food here as well. “Food for Life,” the food assistance program of the Hungarian Society for Krishna Consciousness, is establishing another food distribution site in Budapest’s 7th District.
