Notebooks: Back-to-School Assistance
Back-to-school assistance nationwide. We recently received a special and large-scale donation from Pátria Nyomda Zrt. Our foundation received approximately 70,000 (!!!) notebooks, which we distributed to families at our locations in Somogy County, Eger, and Budapest. We also reached out to schools with this opportunity, because in addition to plain, graph-paper, and lined notebooks, we also received music notebooks, which we delivered to the music school in Eger. New Food Distribution Site in Eger
Our local food distribution point in Eger has moved to a new location at 5 Tűzoltó Square, next to Govinda Restaurant. The new location is a pleasant, enclosed, covered space that protects our guests from rain and cold, inclement weather. We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. 300 servings in Tapolca and Veszprém
As part of the „Like a Bite of Bread” program, we once again delivered 300 hot meals to families in need in Veszprém and Tapolca. Thanks to the kind support of the Egymásra Utalva Foundation, we were also able to include flour, oil, sugar, and pasta in the packages for the families. Everyone was very happy.
