We currently have two main priorities: the border, and providing for the thousands of Indian students who are trying to return home to India via our country to escape the war. On Sunday, we brought a hot lunch and fresh fruit to Tiszabecs, which is a real treat alongside the cold meals they’ve been eating. The people gratefully accepted the help. Refugees from central Ukraine are only now beginning to reach Hungary; some are making long journeys on foot to reach a border crossing so they can ensure the safety of their families—and, of course, their own lives.
