„Our rural food distribution program, ”Like a Bite of Bread,” doesn’t stop during the summer either. This time, we delivered 300 servings of fresh, delicious paprika potatoes to Tápiószecső, along with baked goods and other items. Our guests included large families, retirees, and a few people with limited mobility.

Everyone really enjoyed the delicious lunch.

In addition, following the guidance of the local family assistance service, we distributed non-perishable food packages to 80 families, containing milk, rice, pasta, baked goods, breadcrumbs, yellow peas, chocolate, puffed corn, Detki cookies, and other treats. Many people use these small packages to prepare something for the children staying home during summer break. As is usually the case, the little ones were especially delighted with the sweets. 🙂

Our initiatives continue; here in our country, too, there is a growing need to support vulnerable people in rural areas, who are very grateful even for a single small food package, which allows them to cook together at home for days on end.
