Weekend Report on Krishna Food Distributions in Rural Areas
On Saturday, November 9, we organized a special Krishna food distribution event in Szeged, where providing meals to those in need is becoming increasingly common, and the Anna-kĂști charity event is receiving growing positive media coverage.
Karunamayi Devi Das, a local volunteer and the event organizer, wrote the following on her Facebook page:
âToday we distributed 300 servings of SzĂ©kely cabbage, 250 servings of halava, 200 kg of potatoes, 30 kg of mixed vegetables, and 230 very generous packages of non-perishable food. Dear volunteers! Donors! Dear media! We couldnât have done it without you. RTL Klub and DĂ©lmagyar were on site; Szegedi Nap reported on us; Szeged.hu (and who knows who else); and RĂĄdiĂł 88 continuously supported our work by covering the story in their news broadcasts all day long. A huge thank you!â
On November 30 and December 7, Szeged will also join the year-end âFeast of Loveâ series!
đ With its weekly food distribution, Debrecen has once again demonstrated the spirit of community solidarity. A huge donation of clothing has made their care even more heartwarming, which is a tremendous help now that the cold weather has set in. Weâll be hosting the Feast of Love on December 22.âš
We ask you to support our efforts! đ Our end-of-year âFeast of Loveâ series is about to begin, and weâll be broadcasting from multiple locations across the country. Weâd like to provide even more help, and we can only do that with your support! đâš
