We delivered hundreds of kilograms of non-perishable food to Pécs, to the temporary shelters for families operating at both locations. The packages contained flour, sugar, rice, oil, butter, glucose, cookies, dates, candy, cornflakes, canned corn, and canned beans. Starting January 1, the call charges for our donation hotline will change
Starting in January, we will continue our mission to create value and provide food for the poor. In 2018, we plan to distribute thousands of meals on weekdays and organize additional special initiatives during the holidays. For those in the capital who find themselves in need and require immediate food assistance, we recommend our distribution point in City Park; you can arrive any weekday starting at 11:45 a.m., when our food distribution takes place for just under an hour. Tears of Joy at Christmas in Somogyvámos
We distributed 2.5 metric tons of non-perishable food, 500 hot meals, sweets, tea, and non-perishable food packages—including plenty of fresh fruit—to the students of Krisna Valley School in Somogyvámos for Christmas. The families were overjoyed; many elderly people and those living in extreme poverty were moved to tears. Holiday Food Distribution in Marcali
Yesterday, we also held a holiday food distribution event in Marcali. We welcomed our guests with 200 servings of lunch and 170 food packages, which contained several metric tons of food ingredients. We're kicking things off tomorrow in Óbuda with 800 meals and care packages!
Our series of food distribution events in the capital begins in Óbuda. Thanks to the collaboration between the local government, the district family assistance service, and our foundation, this weekend’s program will provide holiday food aid to 800 families.
