Last weekend, the Hare Krishna Food for Life team also joined the Food Bank’s nationwide Christmas food drive. The initiative In 8 stores across 4 cities We joined in, and about 100 people – volunteers and staff members – we used it to collect more metric ton non-perishable food for those in need.

 Special thanks to the 12 students who served in the Eger outreach, who persevered throughout the entire weekend, along with two young Canadian Mormon missionaries. 

Together, we made a difference—but it's not over yet!

We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped, whether by working at the collection points or by purchasing an extra item at the checkout.

Every can of food, every bag of flour, every bottle of oil, and every package of pasta helps make Christmas more festive and dignified for a family in need.

This collection is the Representing the Food Bank  This is what our organization will be distributing during the Christmas season.

We that's why We are supporting this nationwide campaign because the Food Bank operates year-round our strategic partner: We regularly receive useful and supplementary donations from them, such as yogurt, kefir, fresh mushrooms, bottled water, chocolate, and cottage cheese desserts. These are the valuable extras that we include in our food packages more varied and nutritious we can do it—and thus we can give even more for those who need it most.

Meanwhile, our own Christmas fundraiser is already in full swing!

We will distribute the non-perishable food items we have collected at the Christmas “Meals of Love” events in various locations across the country. Once again this year, thousands of people are turning to us for help during the holiday season.

 Our goal: 10,000 servings of hot meals distribution, as well as thousands of packages of non-perishable food delivering it to those most in need nationwide, until Christmas.

We need your help with this, too! We know you’re always willing to help, and we’re incredibly grateful for that, so we’re asking you to contribute to our end-of-year Love Feast as well!
