More than 227 tonnes of rescued food were distributed nationwide, in Budapest and Eger, about 400 million forints worth among those in need in 2025.

This achievement is due to our strong and continuous cooperation with the Hungarian Food Bank.

Daily presence, continuous assistance

The Haré Krishna Food for Life Mission in Budapest and Eger is in active contact with the Hungarian Food Bank.

Thanks to this cooperation, the daily 3000 hot food portions we can provide on a regular basis:

• fresh vegetables

• fruit

• bakery products

• on special occasions, durable food

This is not campaign assistance, but a continuous, predictable presence.

This puts food, security and stable support on the tables of families.

Where did the help come from?

A significant part of the aid came from supermarket food aid, but they played an important role:
