Hunger Front in Somogy - with 200 Krisnas ammunition packs

Festive Moments in Everyday Life

The holiday doesn't always arrive according to the calendar. Sometimes it takes the form of a bowl of warm food, a thoughtfully put-together package, or a brief conversation. In Somogy County, In Kéthely, Horvátkút, and Marcali We were able to experience such festive moments over the weekend.

Kéthely, Horvátkút, Marcali—where we were needed right now

At the food distribution sites, a total of 200 packages of non-perishable food items we distributed them to the families, and with hot potato noodles We also treated the new arrivals to a meal. These occasions were not just about satisfying hunger, but also about making those facing difficult circumstances feel that they are not alone.

The gift packages contained basic food items that, in terms of both quality and quantity, can provide families with assistance for days or even weeks. And while the hot meals were made from simple ingredients, they were just as delicious. At each location, we were greeted with a warm welcome, grateful looks, and many thanks—this is the kind of feedback that reaffirms the meaning of our work time and time again.

We'll keep going because it's necessary

Due to our limited capacity in Somogy County, we are currently only able to distribute food at these locations, but even so, we are seeing that more and more families are struggling to make ends meet—which is why they can count on us every weekday to help ease their worries.
