The first For 200 wristbands We'll be able to welcome the new arrivals.
We're putting together 200 packages of non-perishable food items: flour, rice, crackers, chocolate bars, milk, lentils/yellow peas, plus two surprise items in each package. <3
In addition, 200 servings of hot one-dish meals and 200 servings of sweets will be distributed.
Please help us so we can continue to help others!
But we're not just waiting for the special food distribution. The "Food for Life" crisis assistance program is operating in Szeged, providing emergency aid to families and seniors in need. Families in the region are eligible to receive crisis food packages if, between two paychecks or pension payments, their refrigerator is completely—that is, entirely—empty of food and they have been pushed to the brink of starvation; We need to help them get through those days or weeks until their paycheck or pension arrives. We hope that this will ensure they have food on the table for a few days.
Support our work by donating on this site and entering "Szeged" in the message field.
