Once again, students from the American school visited us on a field trip to get a closer look at the Food for Life work and the culture of Krishna consciousness.
The cooperation has been going on for several years now, and dozens of young people have visited us during this time. The visits give them an insight into how a national food mission works, how we organise food distributions and how spirituality is linked to practical help.
Study trip - a real social experience
The programme is not just a visit to an institution. Students will see first-hand how donations reach families in need, how a food distribution is prepared and the role of the community in helping.
Although classes are constantly changing, one thing is constant: young people never arrive empty-handed.
Each time, they bring several bags of non-perishable food, which they donate directly to families in need. These donations provide tangible help in their daily lives.
Education and social responsibility go hand in hand
Such visits go beyond a simple study programme. Students gain personal experience of solidarity, community responsibility and the importance of volunteering.
We are especially pleased that members of an international community also consider food donation and social sensitisation important. This cooperation will strengthen trust and connectivity in the long term.
Thank you for your cooperation
We are grateful to the students and teachers of the American school for their openness and dedicated support. The durable food parcels they bring directly contribute to putting hot meals and basic food on the tables of more families.
Meals for Life aims to help those in need in a long-term, humane way - and every partnership counts.
