To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Blikk's presence in Hungary, the Blikk Heart series aims to showcase volunteer helpers and civic initiatives that are less in the spotlight on a day-to-day basis, yet doing exemplary work.

We're pleased to announce that the February episode of the jubilee series is now available - and the Food for Life in Budapest.

From cooking at dawn to serving food

The crew was with us from the early morning preparations until the end of the day. They followed us from the first moments of cooking to the distribution of the food, while also conducting interviews with our staff.

The filming not only showed the process of preparing hot meals, but also the community spirit that makes it possible to support those in need every day.

Everyday service, real stories

We are especially honoured that the Blikk is worthy to showcase the ongoing, often silent, work that the Krishna conscious community is doing for those in need.

The video gives an insight into how a typical day goes in the Meals for Life kitchen and food distribution point - and who the people are who serve with their hearts and souls.
