Today, we helped the dam guards from the Middle Danube Valley Water Management Directorate, who are working hard to fill sandbags along the Danube in and around Budapest. We brought lentil stew, fruit, and bread to support those doing this hard work. We distributed 100 meals along Losonci Street on the Római Bank, on Mecset Street in Érd, and along the Leányfalu flood protection section.

Starting tomorrow, we’ll be stepping up our relief efforts even further! We will deliver 500 hot meals and enough ingredients for 470 sandwiches, along with vegetables and fruit, to the disaster response personnel, soldiers, and volunteers involved in the relief efforts for as long as needed. The towns are: Dunabogdány, Leányfalu, Kismaros, Vác, and Tahitótfalu.
