We've been helping in Eger since 1999—and we've received yet another award!

The year 2024 was a milestone in our charitable work! On the one hand, Péter Mikuska, the Eger coordinator for the Food for Life Foundation, was awarded the title of Volunteer by the Health, Social, and Charitable Section of the Civil Roundtable; on the other hand, we also celebrated the Foundation’s 25th anniversary last year. Check out the photos from yesterday’s awards ceremony! The Krishna devotees in Eger have been serving the community through the Foundation since 1999 with ever-increasing dedication. For several years now, they have been distributing 750 servings of hot meals and non-perishable food daily to those most in need. Péter plays a prominent role in this effort; he started as a volunteer, and since 2023 has been assisting with food distributions as a full-time coordinator, managing the volunteers, overseeing the procurement of ingredients, and actively representing the Foundation at various civil society forums and events. We are grateful for his dedicated work, for which he has now received a well-deserved award! This is particularly valuable, as the honor came from the leaders of civil society organizations.
