Our rural food distribution program, called „Like a Bite of Bread,” visited the towns of Veszprém and Tapolca. We provided assistance in the form of 250 servings of hot lunch and 110 packages of non-perishable food. The packages contained flour, pasta, milk, canned goods, rice, chocolate, and granola. Lunch was a hearty and delicious bowl of lentil stew—one of our chefs’ specialties that everyone loves. 🙂
Our rural initiatives continue unabated; month after month, we visit smaller towns and rural communities where the proportion of people in need is higher than in large cities that offer stable employment, so the need for assistance is greater there. In addition, the start of the school year places an extra burden on families, and we hope that this will help support students in their daily lives.
