This isn't the first time volunteers in Pécs have organized a drawing contest for schoolchildren with gift packages as prizes—this time, the theme was "a more beautiful world.".
At the Mátyás Éltes School—which provides education for children with mild intellectual disabilities—our foundation has once again announced a contest for the students. The stated goal of the initiative is not merely to encourage the children to create, think, and express themselves, but also, of course, to ensure that every participant receives a gift in recognition of their efforts.
The title of the contest, announced in early November, was: „How do you envision a better world?” All 50 entries we received are very insightful and convey many messages to us.
On December 4, every participant received a prize, which we brought to the venue in a Santa Claus bag. Everyone who submitted a drawing received a gift: a Santa Claus package containing an orange, fruit juice, a granola bar, and a fun Santa hat, which brought great joy to everyone.
