Meals for Life, the poverty alleviation program of the Krishna Community of Believers in Hungary, is setting up a new food distribution point in the VII district of Budapest. From November, the distribution point will serve fresh, nutritious, hot meals to 400 people a day. This will provide food for around 1500 people a day in the capital.
In Erzsébetváros, at the request of the municipality, at the request of Mónónaszékiné Keresztes Mónika MP and Barbara Bartusné Benedek MP, a model similar to the one in Óbuda will be introduced. The local family support workers will identify the most needy families, pensioners, unemployed and other people in difficult situations living in the district.
