“The Óbuda-Békásmegyer Municipality has been closely cooperating with the Meals for Life Foundation for years to alleviate the problems of people living in the 3rd district, and the success of this cooperation is directly noticeable and tangible, as thousands of needy people have received free hot meals through the food distribution programmes run by the Foundation nationwide and for almost two years in our district.

Providing hot meals, bread, fruit and non-perishable food five days a week to those in need, alongside homeless people living on the streets, provides essential help to an increasing number of pensioners, families in crisis and young people in crisis living below the minimum subsistence level.”
