At the end of March, our rural food distribution program, „Like a Bite of Bread,” visited Veszprém and Tapolca. This time, we welcomed our guests with a hot lunch and fresh baked goods. We were assisted in this effort by the Egymásra Utalva Foundation and the local family assistance service. In Tapolca, we also provided assistance to the permanent residents of the local homeless shelter.

During the program:

– We were able to provide assistance to 81 families.

– A total of 286 servings of food were served.

– We distributed 224 packages of non-perishable food items, which included rice, sugar, pasta, soft drinks, chocolate milk, cookies, and canned goods—much to everyone’s delight 🙂
