On Tuesday, the We visited a Special Education and Development Institute to celebrate Children’s Day. We brought the children candy and art supplies (copier paper, colored pencils, watercolors, markers, glue sticks, and a tempera paint set) for the children, as requested by the teachers, since these materials are a tremendous help in developing the children’s skills. We would also like to thank ICO Zrt. and Pátria Nyomda for their support.
The program began with singing and group music-making. The children proved to be exceptionally talented at playing Indian instruments! This was followed by the presentation of gifts, which they received with great joy. What was truly touching, however, was that our kindness was once again reciprocated. We, too, received clay bells and necklaces made by the residents of the facility as gifts. It is for these gestures and these lovely moments that we truly love doing our work 🙂
