Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. How do we fight poverty? We strive to give faith and hope to every family in need and to bring warmth into their lives through our food distributions. Last year alone, our „Like a Bite of Bread” program visited 49 rural villages, while we also continued our food distributions at our larger distribution centers.
Most recently, our rural food distribution program visited the towns of Ivád and Váraszó, where we provided 350 people with non-perishable food items and, of course, treats for the children. We also stopped in Pétervására, located between the two towns, because a serious fire had occurred there. The affected family was immensely grateful for the food donation. Many small acts add up to a lot. We believe in this, and we help from the heart.
