Although they lost their church status in January under the new church law, the Krishna Community of Believers in Hungary will continue to distribute festive food in Budapest and rural towns this year. Pastor Csilla Péterné Szilaj told STOP readers about the food distribution on 24-25-26 December.
- The now traditional food distribution is not affected by the church law from a legal point of view, as this charitable activity is outsourced as an action of a non-governmental organization - begins Pastor Csilla Péterné Szilaj, spokesperson of the Food for Life Foundation. As she says, they are preparing for their festive action with similar activity as before, although they are expecting a slightly larger number of people than before due to the crisis.
