We successfully organized a fantastic food drive in Békéscsaba. Our local volunteers are very enthusiastic—a true „super team”—who, thanks to the generosity of a major donor, distributed 116 food packages in the heart of Békés.

The generous food package contained the following items: flour, semolina, pasta, oil, rice, tomato juice, shortbread cookies (various kinds), apples, sauerkraut, sweet corn, tea, and breadcrumbs. In this way, they were able to help a total of 182 people!

Our guests included students from the local special education school who live in difficult circumstances, residents of the temporary family shelter, children from the foster care home in Békés County, other needy families in the city, and people living alone who, unfortunately, cannot make ends meet on their own given current prices.

We would like to thank our volunteers for their hard work and dedication, and for the generous donations that allow us to organize initiatives like this—which offer real value—in addition to providing daily hot meals!
