200 servings of hot lunch and the same number of food packages in Szeged—that’s how the Christmas Feast of Love kicked off today!
You only see a few photos and smiles from today, but in reality, weeks and months of hard work go into each food distribution like this—organizing it is no small task.
- Site Survey and Obtaining Permits
- Requesting and Coordinating Donations
- Purchasing food and cooking ingredients, followed by the cooking itself
- If necessary, the transport of certain non-perishable food items between facilities
- Organizing Volunteers
- And then, of course, there's cleaning…
