On Saturday, staff members from the Eger office of the Food for Life Foundation treated the audience of several hundred people at the Eger Civil Festival to a Govinda-style lunch.
The Foundation’s debut was extremely popular, as they served meals ordered from our restaurant: more than 400 servings of smoky vegan bean goulash with soy cubes and fresh, soft bread, and foodies could ask for chili flakes or spicy paprika smoked over beech wood.

The dessert was the popular Indian rice pudding, with pieces of strawberry.
The Eger office of “Food for Life,” founded in 1999 by followers of Krishna, has participated in the event almost from the very beginning and contributes to the program’s success by offering free food tastings. As is well known, the Foundation has established an excellent partnership with the Social and Charitable Section of the Eger Civil Roundtable, and its collaboration with partner organizations has also been fruitful.
