Our largest rural distribution center is located in Eger. Every day, our volunteers help the residents of Eger and the surrounding area by serving 750 hot meals. An entire book could be written about the paths that lead people to food distribution centers and the life stories carried by those standing in line. After all, you can’t save the world on an empty stomach—or even survive.

Hunger prevents people from focusing on their work or studies, and little by little, it wears down not only the body but also the spirit. That is why Food for Life’s mission is to provide every hungry person with clean, healthy, and highly nutritious meals—the kind we ourselves would gladly eat.
