Knead half a kilo of graham flour with 5 dkg butter, salt and lukewarm water to a soft dough. Add 1 tbsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds to taste. Cover with a cloth and leave to rise for 15 minutes, then shape into balls 3 cm in diameter and form into round patties 2-3 mm thick. Drop them into hot oil. Fry no more than 2-3 pieces at a time. Shape them into a ball shape, then turn them over and fry the other side until light brown. Remove, place them on a wire rack or paper towel, edge side by edge. Be careful not to break them!
