Help with Flood Control – We’re Providing Food to Support Workers on the Dikes
Today, we helped the dam guards of the Middle Danube Valley Water Management Directorate, who are working hard to fill sandbags along the Danube in Budapest and the surrounding area. We brought out lentil stew, fruit, and bread to support those doing such hard work. We distributed 100 meals on Losonci Street on the Római Bank, on Mecset Street in Érd, and along the Leányfalu flood protection section. Food Distribution in Szeged to Help Students Start the School Year
The Food for Life Foundation is once again holding a food distribution event in Szeged—this time, for the fifth time. We’d like to give families a little help before school starts, so the next event will take place on August 24 at the Anna Fountain.
