Advent Food Distribution in Óbuda – Our "Food for Life" Foundation Hosts 800 People
We are organizing a relief effort on Saturday to assist 800 residents of Óbuda. With these food donations, we aim to ease the burden of extra Christmas and winter expenses, primarily for families and elderly people who are at risk of losing their homes, falling into debt, or facing inadequate living conditions. St. Nicholas Day Specials: Thousands of kilograms of food and treats
We distributed 3,700 kg of non-perishable food in Miskolc as part of our „Like a Bite of Bread” program during Advent. The generous non-perishable food packages included traditional cooking ingredients as well as cornflakes and tea, and families also received St. Nicholas gift bags filled with plenty of sweets, fruit, soft drinks, and other treats. On World Food Day, 900 meal packages and hot lunches were served to families. We really enjoyed it. We managed to put smiles on people’s faces. We also made a video of the event so you can see what it’s like to bring joy to people on a beautiful fall day 🙂 We distribute lunch and supplementary items every day, but we’ll continue with such a large-scale distribution at Christmas! „To live is to serve.”
Notebooks: Back-to-School Assistance
Back-to-school assistance nationwide. We recently received a special and large-scale donation from Pátria Nyomda Zrt. Our foundation received approximately 70,000 (!!!) notebooks, which we distributed to families at our locations in Somogy County, Eger, and Budapest. Our local food distribution point in Eger has moved to a new location at 5 Tűzoltó Square, next to Govinda Restaurant. 300 servings in Tapolca and Veszprém
As part of the „Like a Bite of Bread” program, we once again delivered 300 hot meals to families in need in Veszprém and Tapolca.
