Who is entitled to receive food?

To qualify, you must go to the district Family Assistance Centre, which will determine if you are in need. They will then issue you with a confirmation card, which you will need to present at the distribution point on any day you are out for the first time, you will be registered and from that day onwards you will be entitled to meals every time.

How much food can 1 person get?

As far as the Family Support Centre will determine.

What else goes with a hot meal?

At the distribution points in the district, we also offer donations of baked goods, fruit and vegetables, depending on the type and quantity of the donations received from the supermarket each day.

What's in a hot meal?

Our menu is exclusively vegetarian, mostly with a Hungarian flavour.Our 2-week menu includes delicious stews, soups, pasta dishes (Mexican bean pasta, broccoli pasta, Milanese). Our meals are most often based on mixed vegetables, potatoes, sorrel, spinach and pulses. What may be allergenic: soya, sour cream, milk and flour. For information on allergenic ingredients, please contact the food dispensers.

What kind of donation does the Foundation need?

There are three ways you can do this: by donating food, goods and money to help our mission.

Our foundation is mainly supported by financial donations, otherwise we are very grateful for any donations, for example vegetarian (meat, fish, egg free) food donations.

We use a variety of kitchen, warehouse and transport-related tools. In order to avoid unnecessary donations of equipment, you can see on the next page our plans for what equipment we are currently collecting.

Cash donation: you can choose from several packages. You can support our mission according to your means.

How can I donate?

If you would like to bring us personally food, it's best for us if you bring it in the morning, when we haven't yet left for the distribution points. Please inform us of the arrival, nature and quantity of the donation as soon as possible at [email protected]-or at ...... Donate clothes we are not in a position to take over. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
