When different paths lead to the same place, something powerful always emerges from it.
We had guests on Saturday The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints its missionaries.
He was with them Rob Finch and Lasely Finch also, experts on welfare and self-sufficiency in the Central European region. It was clear from the very first moment that this would not be a formal meeting, but rather an open, friendly conversation about, how to provide help in a way that is sustainable and respectful of human dignity.
They have offered their support, saying they would bring in volunteers and help expand the resources available in our new building so that we can provide even better, more dignified services to those in need. The Robeks also told us that they had chosen us from among five other charitable organizations. We are truly honored by their decision.
This meeting was about our shared human responsibility.
About what brings people together—even beyond religion—in the service of a shared, long-term cause.
